We’ve spent the day preparing for our upcoming television debut on The Catholic Corner. The show is a production of the diocesan Office of Radio and Television. The taping is tomorrow afternoon at Riverview Studios in Bordentown with host Msgr. Walter Nolan, pastor of St. Paul Parish, Princeton.
If things go according to plan, the show, featuring graphic artist Jeanne Scarpato who always helps design the food, and myself, should air the week of March 21.
Our segment will feature how to “build” a homestyle version of a St. Joseph Table out of things you most likely have at home that can be the focus of a St. Joseph Day celebration March 19 for family and friends. The Table will feature some of the delicious dishes and desserts that are consumed with such gusto on this special day in honor of the universal patron saint of the Church and the foster father of Jesus.
Over the next few days, look for traditional St. Joseph recipes and special prayers for the day to appear on Keeping the Feast along with reflections from some parishioners who will be observing the customs at home and in parish celebrations.
